Diploma in Nursing (DNU) Diploma in Nursing (DNU) program is designed to create an independent, self-directed, accountable professional who practices nursing with a health promotion perspective and an ethic of caring. At the end of the program, the student nurse will have knowledge and skills to make practical judgements based on critical thinking, intuition, research and evaluation in a variety of contexts with a diverse client population. He or she will be prepared to meet the professional practice requirements as outlined by the Maldives Nursing and Midwifery Council (MNMC).
Entry Requirements:
• Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in nursing AND certified competency in English language. OR
• 2 passes (minimum E grade in GCE A’ Level and minimum C grade in HSC) in GCE A' Level/HSC AND passes in GCE O/L Mathematics, Biology/Human Biology and Physics/Chemistry AND certified competency in English language.
